The performance was inspired by the tenkara fishing he used to do as a child in mountain streams.
A microphone fished on the end of a fishing rod is thrown onto a vinyl sheet that imitates a mountain stream. Sand and stones are placed on the vinyl sheet, and a speaker unit is placed under the sheet. When the tip of the fishing rod approaches the speaker unit, sound feedback occurs, and the sand creates ripples from the sound waves.
